Miloš: since we all have fairy-tale pictures i agree with Ina - six dwarfs. And because I am the tallest I am the Chief dwarf

Meta: Are you sure? :) I would like to be one of the dwarfs!:) Thank you Ina for the pictures...they're great!

Matej: I guess we solved our first issue! (although i would name our team "clio fan club" i will let them get away with this one) GO DWARFS! :)

Katja: Hello, dwarfs! I think this page is wonderful and we will enjoy working with this wiki :) Miloš is our ata smrk :)

Miloš: Hehe - looks like our name should be DISNEYWORLD OK dwarfs - first issue completed. Pick yourself a role and let's get to the business. Instead of reserve person you can rename it to something else so it won't be the worst job ;)

Anja : hello, pupils. so, i guess we've decided for the topic "violence in cartoons (fairytales, whatever)"? i'm going to ask the prof. if she's okay with it... btw, are we going to start the blog too?

Meta: Yeah! We talked about it and I gues we will blog too... the best way for others to see our activity...who will do it?

Miloš: We are so fast that I don't have anything to chase. So no work for me

Katja: We`re the best! We solve issue 2! What`s next :)

Ina: What?? We have already decided...wow we are really fast..what´s the rush:)

Anja: Obviously our timekeeper-dwarf is doing a good job

Miloš: No, no it is the progress chaser ;) Time keeper is just focusing us to work, so we don't do do other things

Matej: Anja: violence in cartoons it is

Anja: OK, I asked about the topic and I got this answer: The topic itself is good. Now you have to see what THE PROBLEM is that you perceive in that. Have you, for example, found some data that show that children in Slovenia behave more violently if they watch violent cartoons? If you have such evidence then your PBL problem could perhaps be something like that: Research shows that Slovene children are becoming more violent as a result of being exposed to cartoons with violent scenes … Then you would try to look for SOLUTIONS to this problem. You would formulate 10 research questions, such as e.g. What can our society (parents, school, peers…), our institutions (laws, TV stations…) do to decrease violent behaviour in children that comes as the result of viewing violent cartoons? Next, you would find the sources of possible answers to your research questions, so that you then can read selected literature on the issue, contact selected institutions, interview children, parents… in order to get the answers and write your solutions. Back to your topic, if you all agree with it then start thinking about the problems related to it. so, what do you think?

Matej: We had something like that in mind when we chose our topic, i just think we were aiming a bit more generally on the issue of violence in the cartoons. We will discuss your proposal and see what we can come up with. I think it's interesting though; thumbs up!

Anja: Ehm, kids... according to the timetable we should already write our first minute. when are we going to have a meeting?

Anja: okay, everybody: our first official meeting is going to be on wednesday at 12 a.m.! if you're not there ...

INA: Well..our first "official" meeting was not very successful and productive. I ask you to come to THE next one - a very productive meeting - on Monday (20.11) at 12...place: library - FDV!!!!!!!

Anja: Today I went to a student-teacher meeting with the professor Breda Luthar. She told me some interesting views on our topic and she also lent me a videotape "The killing screens" and a book "The 11 myths of media violence". I can read the appropriate topics, but I don't have a videorecorder. Who is the volunteer to watch the tape and write something about it?

INA:Bring the tape on Monday. I will watch it.

Miloš As we agreed on the last meeting. Everyone should read what we are writing on this page and correct possible gramatical mistakes. At the end of each minute sign yourself that you have read the text. That is how we will minimize the mistakes.

Anja I have a request - on Sunday, could we meet earlier than agreed, because I start working at 6 p.m.? Let's say 4, 5 p.m.?

Anja: Just for the record... we have to bring our PBL on Wednesday!
