DISCRIMINATION OF RELIGION AS EFFECT OF TERRORISM

Item 1:

All assignments from the previous meeting have been carried out (also Maria has been introduced to our PBL problem)

Item 2:

We have been disscusing our topic and defining about discrimination of religion as effect of terrorism means. Based on that, we have determined 10 sources and formed 10 questions. The distribution of assignments is written in the next paragraph.

Assignments:

Manca will explain what discrimination is and try to find out if and how religion based discrimination has grown lately.

Gregor will try to get the UN opinion on the topic and to present how this problem appears in Slovenia.

Maria will do a survey among her friends and family in Spain about their reactions to the train attack in Madrid in 2004.

Mojca will interview both Chatolic and Mormon representatives in Slovienia, trying to get their point of view on the topic.

Saso will try to get in touch with the refugee center in Postojna and also do some research on the internet.

Item 3:

Everyone has suggested a few questions, Sašo also told us a lot about the attack in France. We discussed what the situation is now in Spain after the Madrid attacks with Maria .
