Natasa: So, what's going to be our topic? Any ideas?

Natasa: We had a meeting and after long discussion we finally decided. Our topic will be "FDV students and smoking"

Item 1:

We talked about changing the title, but after a long discussion we decided not to do that.

We will keep our title "Smoking and students at FDV". After time we will improve our title(we do not know if the number of smokers is increasing or declining)

Item 2:

Andrej proposed that our first question could be about history of smoking, but the rest of the team did not agree. We all came to same conclusion that at least half of our project would talk about solutions of the problem.

We created ten questions.

Item 3:

Each member chose two questions and we decided that everyone on its own will have to find sources of his/her topic and add it to the wiki.

The next meeting will be held on Friday, 24 November, 2006 at 2 PM at FDV library.

Definition

A lot of people do not realise how big is the problem of smoking. The one who smokes indirectly has influence on the others who do not smoke. In our project we will try to find out what has been done to decrease smoking by state, organisations and media.

10 research questions

1) Which are the reasons to start smoking?

2) Do passive smokers have a choice?

3) Is the number of smokers in Slovenia increasing or decreasing?

4) What will the result of survey about smoking at FDV show?

5) What have the Slovenia done to decrease number of smokers?

6) How did Slovenian people react to the law, which forbids smoking in public place?

7) Which are the organisations in Slovenia that help people who want to give up smoking?

8) How successful those organisations are?

9) How the different media confront with problems of smoking?

10) Do the media encourage or oppress smoking?

Item 1:

We reviewed what have been done by now. We ascertained that everybody did his part of the report.

Item 2:

Nataša already formed the title while making the structure of the report. There were no other suggestions, so others agreed with the title.

Item 3:

We distribute who will write introduction, methodology and conclusion. Nataša offers to put the report together, as she already made the structure of the report. Jana is appointed to write the introduction, Jelena the methodology and Andrej the conclusion.

The next meeting will be held on Sunday, 3 December, 2006 at 7PM on MSN Messenger.

Item 1:

We reviewed what everyone has done. We ascertained that the introduction, methodology and the conclusion were written and we include them to the report.

Item 2:

We comment mistakes that others made and also the mistakes that we found out in our parts of the report. We corrected some grammar and vocabulary. We also decided to erase some paragraphs entirely.

Item 3:

We agreed that it would be good to send the report to the professor before assigning it. So, we would know what kind of mistakes we made and we will still have time to correct them.
