HYPOTHESES:
1. Workers in administration are more motivated by intrinsic motivators whereas workers in manufacturing industry find extrinsic factors more motivating.
2. Differences between motivators in administration and in manufactury industry that are listed in the literature are slightly exaggerated. Workers are best motivated with a combination of both motivators ( intrinsic & extrinsic).

Issue 1: We first met to discuss our topic for PBL.
Decision 1: We decided that our topic will be: How to motivate people in organizations.
Issue 2: Defined problem
We went to dr.- Černigoj-Sadar and with her help we decided to find out what motivates workers in office (administration) and what in manufacturing industry. We think that there must be major differences between those two groups of workers. As future managers we are interested if there is any difference between those groups, especially we would like to know which group is more motivated by material motivators and which by non-material. We think that the problem which we will research is a very important topic in the organization. If people are satisfied with their job, colleagues and salary, they are more successful and give more attention to the work.
So the title for our seminar work is : What motivates workers in administration and what in manufacturing industry.
Girls do you agree?
Anja: Petra I agree :)
Tina: I think that our topic is very interesting. I am also very happy that we already have all the literature we need. Now we just have to decide what each member will do.
Decision 2: The title for our seminar work is : Intrinsic and extrinsic motivators in administration and in manufaturing industry.

Issue 3: PROBLEM
Petra: Girls, Jana still didn't send me back e-mail, so we still don't know what to do with our topic. I hope that Jana And Mrs. Černigoj Sadar will talk with each other because one of them said something and the other one something else. I think it's about time, that we know if our topic is ok.
Tina and Martina, because you were absent today: till Friday we have to improve our problem, make the right topic, write minutes for our 1st meeting and write the list of literature. I think this won't be a big problem, because we already have sent the literature to Jana. I suggest we could have a coffee time before the management class on Thursday, do you agree?
I think I'm going to be
hahahaha
Issue 4: Literature:
I hope that the literature is ok.
Tina: I don't think this wiil be a problem, because tomorrow in Organizational Behaviour Class prof. Nadoh will give us back our concept for seminar work and then we'll know if our topic is ok. I don't understand what you mean with : improve our topic. What do we have to do? Please explain.
I think that is a good idea if we meet on Thursday and complete our tasks for this week. I think that the literature that we have is ok. I have already read some of the texts and we can use a lot of it in our seminar work. In the book How to motivate people there are chapters about different ways of motivating, different material and non-material motivators, how people feel about work, different theories of work motivation... It is very interesting. I hope that rest of you have also read some of the literature.
See you on thursday!
Have fun!
Anja: Petra and Tina one big plus for both of u. U two really done your job. About meeting, Thursday will be ok, so see ya tomorrow! Kisses to all.
Petra: Tina, prof. Zorko published some slides on how to define the problem. And it's quite different. So we should change it. We can try to do this on Thursday. I think if we meet on Thursday at 1p.m., it would be enough time to do minutes.
Tina, do you have copies from the books which prof. Sadar-Černigoj gave us?
Decision 3: We have all literature!
Issue 5: MEETING ON THURSDAY AT 1P.M.?
