MINUTES OF THE 1st MEETING  "Problem based learning  project",  held on 10.11.2007 on MSN.

ITEM  1 :

 

DISCUSSION: The present members of our team talked about gender inequalities in general. Then our debate shifted towards more specific problems such as different kinds of stereotypes in our society.

 

ITEM 2 : 

 

DISCUSSION:

BARBARA suggested the tittle (Women are uneqal to men at workplace, the phenomenon: glass ceiling). SARA proposed other titles for our project: Handicaped people have less posibilities to be on high positions at work. We were very sceptical about the first title because it did not seem very interesting for the others. Then JAN offered another title: Stereotype: secretaries as boss's concubines.

 

 Desicions: All present members accepted the first title. Sara's and Jan's suggestions were refused. The title WOMEN'S INEQUALITY IN THE WORKPLACE: Stereotyping keeps skilled women from the Top. - was accepted for now.

 

 

ITEM 3: Any other bussiness: Jan proposed that every member has to write down 5 research questions and  the definition until Friday, and send it to each other by e-mail.
